'The Pain Is Coming'
A new scrapbook song - written and demo tracked today. Demo up soon… meantime here are the opening lyrics:
degrade in regret, an unfinished past, soul long dead, a fragmented task, the pain is coming for you, the pain is coming for you.
you brace for the worst, met by silence that you never curse, your utter…mumble... meaningless, like it changes everything, it won't change anything

you brace for the worst, met by silence that you never curse, your utter…mumble... meaningless, like it changes everything, it won't change anything

Calling All Goths
Just wondering, are there any goths / emo's / hardcore kids out there that actually grew up in homes with emotionally available parents? If so, get in touch, I would like to interview you for a project I am working on. I suppose want to know what a true "lifer" in one of our dark urban sub culture scenes is really like. Someone who made the choice wholeheartedly and did not fall into it by sheer necessity.

'Have You Ever Put Your Heart On The Line For Anyone At All' live
A scrapbook demo of a bit of an epic I'm quite happy with. Not sure exactly how the final version will turn out. But that's a thought for another era.
live video of the song can be found here as well: https://www.facebook.com/glenn.musto/videos/10153302874899603/?pnref=story

Pubescent Spittle
This is serious folks, I saw on face-rape today a post from an ‘acquaintance’ who bought a burger from McDonalds. Shocking enough I know. But what really surprised me is that he was so disgusted, he felt compelled to inform his own little puny-verse about how abhorred he was with the experience. In a triptych no less! Not exclaiming how disgusted he was at himself for going there, but instead, that once he decided to roll into such a repellent cesspit of culinary atrocity, he was frightened enough by the nutritional outcome that he needed to share it. Seriously? How could you possibly expect anything else? Like a gang fighter complaining when they get stabbed.
If you walk away from that goodness prison with your worst experience being simply the ingestion of the pubescent spittle of a child slave, a breadless sugar loaf, a cage reared grey depressed hormonal animal carcass and a collection of whatever possible shitty dairy product you can stuff in there to finish it off, well you should probably be celebrating.
But you know what shocked me the most? Here, in 2015, there is someone who is clearly over twelve years old, appears cogent enough to not be in the throws of a deep phase of smack abuse, and likely has more than just metal in his wallet, actually decided to bypass the many options we now have in this capitalist urban ego-scape and go straight to the most horrible slop shop on the planet. To you sir, I say: thanks! for making me feel like the smartest cunt in the room.
In other news, thesauraus.com now lists McDonalds as an antonym for “sustenance”. True story, look it up. That is all.

Brick Walls
Stacey did not talk about her problems and Georgey could not handle the emotional brick wall. It was almost like he owned his own demons and never told her as a way of avoiding that deep truth that he thought she couldn't handle. I always wondered if his decision not to connect with her, despite doing it so naturally in every other aspect of his life, contributed more to her depression and less to her recovery, despite his unending assertion that he justified it as a means of not exacerbating her problems. But as they grew separately he just became arrogant, not in the traditional way, just too bumptious to realise that Stacey always knew what he was doing, she was just too broken to talk about it. She processed it within herself and the cycle of superficial denial continued on. It takes two people to live out a lie.

Before you propose in a hot air baloon above the Eiffel Tower
I learnt something a little sobering today: the grander the gesture, the more tenuous the answer. The truth arrives when the grandeur dies. That is all.
